Technology Strategy is something we are very passionate about at Gruuv. Through our Technology Strategy planning sessions, we focus on our customer’s business. We spend the time to interview key stake holders, investigate current initiatives and technology, and aim for detailed input to form an appropriate strategy. We work with our customers and utilize their feedback to develop strategic direction based in part upon desired new services and feedback on improving existing services.
When called upon to provide strategy, we understand that we are being asked for our expertise and experience. We are being asked to promote new and improved ways to solve technology problems without sacrificing other guiding principles. We think beyond perceived constraints. We implement new information services that represent value to our customers as compared to other peer institutions. Value requires containing costs while optimizing usefulness.
During any Technology Strategy session with our customers, we incorporate metrics to measure performance and verify effectiveness of information resources. Additionally, the metrics are used along with customer feedback, direct or through surveys, to identify training and/or resource deficiencies.
